The first side of this pressing sees BIOS headman and long time established dnb bad man Amaning join ranks with another BIOS favourite and dancefloor killer, Bionic1. “Robotwars” sets us in a world of chaos with its foreboding samples and heavy driving basslines. Clean drums and tasteful edits round off these sounds to make Robotwars a song that man and android alike could easily find themselves doing the robot to on most any dance floor.
The flip of this record welcomes back London’s very own master of the deep, Squash. “Crawlers” is a spacey stepper that builds into a steady groove sure to make listeners begin sway.
