Sander Van Doorn is one of 2011’s hottest dance properties
with hug hits and remixes under his belt plus his world renowned dj sets are
hotly anticipated where ever he appears.

 

This bank holiday weekend we welcome Sander and his unique
dj style back to the Elite building that is GATECRASHER NOTTINGHAM 

 

Headlining the 29th is the creator of Dusk till Doorn and
Top 10 DJ Sander van Doorn.

 

Back ground on Sander Van Doorn

 

First there were Heineken and Edam, then came Sander van
Doorn.  The Dutch musical genius may not
be as mature as his predecessors but he’s certainly made as much of an impact
in his comparatively short career, not only in The Netherlands but also across
the world.

 

Having made his debut in the world-renowned DJ Mag Top 100
at 32 in 2006, before climbing to No.10 in 2009’s poll, the fast rise of Sander
van Doorn is a testament to his raw talent and dedication. In just seven years
he’s clocked up more dance floor destroyers, sell out gigs and awards than most
artists do in a lifetime and his journey is still in its infancy.

 

Next up Cosmic Gate, Formed in 1999,

 

Cosmic Gate's first single was "Exploration of
Space", followed by "The Drums" ,"Mental Atmosphere"
and their "Somewhere over the Rainbow" remix using samples from the
widely popular film, "The Wizard of Oz." However, Cosmic Gate did not
become well known until their single "Fire Wire" was released in the
UK in 2001. Cosmic Gate have made many remixes for artists such as DJ Tiësto
(Urban Train), Ferry Corsten (Punk), Blank & Jones (DFF), Israel
Kamakawiwo'ole (Somewhere Over The Rainbow), Svenson & Gielen (Answer the
Question) and Vanessa-Mae (White Bird). They are currently experiencing a major
renaisnce with the release of their remixed album ‘back to the future’ which is
being hailed by all major jocks worldwide.

 

Hosting the main arena is JFK

 

JFK is no stranger to these parts and is the East midlands
favourite unsung hero, with his huge following from his former residency at
Passion still supporting his every move, you know JFK will always deliver those
peak time anthems just when you need an adrenaline boost.

 

Funk delux

 

At Gatecrasher we have always strived to bring you the
world’s biggest DJ talent and now we are heralding new emerging local talent to
help the continuation of the dance scene in the East Midlands. Funk Deluxe has
been a great brand to help get unknown talent on the first rung of success and
we have invited the best in up and coming talent to showcase their fine art for
the first time at Gatecrasher Nottingham.

 

All this will be set in the luxurious surroundings of
Gatecrasher’s  Nottingham venue with its
stunning bespoke décor and awe inspiring laser and light shows, CO2 cannons and
more.
