When it comes to fingers and pies, The Resistance Fammo’s DJ fatality has more than most, in more than most! A prolific DJ, producer and promoter, shaking up the scene for the past 6 years, none can claim to work as hard or with such excitement
Maybe this is why his energy is so contaminating and his clique so successful. Fatality’s passion has led him to perform in every club worth mentioning in London (SE-One, The Scala, The End to name but a few), the surrounding counties and internationally. His acclaimed radio show on Origin FM has many devoted addicts and his dubs have been creeping into the rave over the past four years. Neutronc Beats are delighted to welcome him to the label and showcase his individual take on an elemental style.
- Fight Us
Rooted in old skool hardcore, this track has an authentic, vintage vibe to it, reminiscent of early Timeless releases. Ominous atmospherics blend as the pressure builds, lush ride cymbals add to the mix of heavily reverbed percussion… Enter the stepper’s break and sampled vocal challenge “…Who cares to fight with us?”. For the drop, Fatality treats us to a innovative twist on the seminal acid bass; high resolution cut off nastiness which just squelches throughout the track in a moist drum & bass puddle! Awesome.
‘Teach’ kicks of with a witty, mashed up 60′s film sample of Arco, Agitato, crescendo strings, plucked double bass and a vocal which sounds suspiciously like Michael Caine; “…I should teach you too if you like!” More filtered rides add dimension to the frame and lead into another heavy stepper’s break and noisy, perverted bassline medley. This is one which would have you busting your belly laughing if you weren’t so busy busting out moves on the dance floor! Infectious.
