ORIGINAL SIN & FRIENDS PART 2 EP – Image Recordings

With the recent success of his ‘Move EP’, many people will know Original Sin for his outings on Playaz and their associated labels as he has been consistently rolling out tunes that smash and mash dancefloors around the world with their intense basslines and frentic energy.

Those who have been following the upward trajectory of Original Sin’s career thus far will know that Image Recordings is his own imprint in which he tends to enlist a selection of other producers from the Playaz crew to aid him in his quest to produce yet another selection of nuclear beats.

‘No Fear’ is an archetypal Original Sin tune as he brings an echoing vocal that is punctuated heavily with a bitcrushed bassline and constantly rising sound effects. Supreme Being steps up next with the aptly named ‘Audio Skank’, a right and proper dancefloor killer full of high energy and the grittiest of basslines. Sub Zero producing a track called ‘Below Freezing’ syncs nicely as does the beat with the EP, a slower paced stepper of a tune with a robotic bass and an ever changing soundscape. Finishing off the EP and your ear drums is ‘The Box’ by Sonic and Silver, a tune that blends vocal samples from James Bond with a deep, throaty bassline that feels as though it is building throughout the whole tune.
